L1 Extension

Hi

I am filing for an L1 extension and I have already applied for GC (current status is filing PERM).

In the visa questions, there is a questions that asks about PERM file date. My PERM has been filed and is there any chances that my L1 extension would get rejected because of filing PERM?

Hi

Filing labour is for immigration purpose (Green card).
L1 is a non-immigrant visa.
Revealing your intention to immigrate when filing L1 might prove to be a disaster.

And moreover labour is company specific and not employee specific.
So you dont have to disclose it when filing L1

Thanks Pradeep. So can I intentionally leave that field blank and proceed further?

(I do it both internally through my company's immigration team. I dont think they would cross verify and find out this though.)
