My husband's L1 is valid until July 2019 and my L2 EAD is valid until the visa is valid. We are shortly going for a visa interview as my husband's employer wants to file for a new L1 blanket instead of extending the current L1 individual. Once the new L1/L2 is approved, I'm going to apply for my EAD renewal. My question is this - once we have the L1/L2 approved, the earlier visa which my EAD is tied to isn't valid. Will I still be eligible to work until my EAD expires (July 2019)? Or should I take a break and resume once the EAD is renewed with the new L2 visa?
