Valid I94 but L1B Visa expiring, company suggested to apply visa extension

Hi,

Can any one suggest me on this.

I am on L1B visa expiring on 25-Sep-2019 where as my I94 is expiring on 25-May-2021. My Company suggesting me to file visa extension even i have valid i94.

What are the chances of getting my L1B visa approved with valid i94. if i stay on i94 will this effect any of my future visa stamping?

if visa extension got denied can i stay on i94 or have to leave US.
