L1A Visa Petition Extension - Need ADVICE !

Hello,

Please share your experiences and inputs and help me take a decision !

- My L1A visa petition expires in Sept 19. It was approved under INDIVIDUAL petition
- Visa is valid till 2021

- The company has now suggested that it will apply for extension under BLANKET petition. Is this advisable since my earlier approval was under Individual ?

- In case company files under Individual, is it better to go for the Drop box option in India or through Consular processing in the US itself ?

- How long has the renewal decision taken in your cases?

Should not be a problem.

You don't need to go for visa stamping until your visa expires 2021 & you plan to visit outside USA.

Libra_14 , can you provide this info in detail? How to extend INDIVIDUAL as Blanket? Do we need to just appear for an interview (outside US) or we again submit I129 to USCIS?

Curious , if you had L1A why didn't you apply for Green card ?

I wish L1 holder can apply for themselves.

Only an petitioner organization can apply for GC for the L1A holder.
