L1B Individual Consulate Interview

Hi,

My L1B Individual petition got approved couple of days back .
Is it mandatory to attend L1B individual consulate interview from Chennai ? Currently the wait times are more than 2 months for chennai consulate

The consulate is based on your residential address.

Individual petition need to be scheduled on embassy near your home address.
