My husband got his H1B approved in october 2009.His company s processing for his L1.My question is
1.After going to US in L1 is there any possibility for change of status from L1 to H1B.?Will that approved petition be valid.?
2.Wen he gets L1 i will be getting L2.I can fly only after a month after him.Within wat period of time should the status from L1 to H1b can be done.?
3.If he changes at tht time will i get H4 visa.?

2. L1 to H1B can be done at any time. However, note that quota for H1B for the current fiscal year is over.

My husband filed H1B from India through a consultant and had it approved under 2009 quota.Hes got his L1 now and will be flying shortly.My question is,

1.Once he is in US on L1 will that approved H1 petition will still be valid to do change of status.?

As long as that job on H1 still exists and employer is willing to hire him, he can use that H1 visa.
