L1B VISA working from India for 3 weeks

Hi All,

I came to the US on L1B Visa for a period of 1 year from Feb'19 and planning to travel back to India in September'19 for a short duration of 3 weeks for family commitments. Can I work remotely in India for 3 weeks? Is it legal? or I should apply off for this time.

As long as you still maintain your employment relation with your sponsoring company you can work from anywhere in the world.

Will you get paid for that period ? If yes, in India or in USA ?

--> That's what i'm not sure whether I'll be paid in USA . If it's legal then most likely I think , should get paid US salary only.

Yes, as long as you are not switching employment to India.
