Can my dependent travel to india for 3 months while waiting for L2 extention within US? what need to be taken care? L1 is valid.

L2 extension might get denied if your dependent travels outside the country when the petition is pending with USCIS. In which case, she need to get the L2 visa stamped (if she doesn't already have a valid L2 visa in the passport) with your extended petition. Upon return, she will get a I-94 as per your L1 petition expiry date or until her visa expiry date or until her passport expiry date.
