Hi All,
Giving back to the forum. Here is my experience.
I work for a product bases US company. Has 10 years experience. Has been working at US HQ for last 2.5 years on L1B. This time i applied for L1A functional manager category. Here is the interview:
Greeted the lady VO. She has just rejected one L1A in front of me, guy looked much senior with good salary but seems to be working for a client. She asked him if he wants to convert L1A to L1B, the guy reluctantly accepted it. That made me nervous and I was getting ready for rejection
.
Questions asked.
VO: which company you work for.
How long you have been in the US.
Which state.
Salary.
Designation, on this when I said senior engineer, she was surprised. I quickly mentioned that I am applying for functional manager role.
Asked about my role, which I explained as prepared.
She asked for the letter from attorney which has detailed job description.
After working on computer for some time came the golden words " your visa is approved".
Hope this helps.
