Can L2 stay in the US while L1 goes to home country for a short trip?

Hi, I am on L1 visa and my spouse of L2. My visa extension has been approved but my wife’s visa approval is pending. My brother is getting married in September, can I go to India in September and get my visa stamped while my wife stays in the US and can we get her visa stamped once she gets the approval on the next trip of ours to India?

Yes, you can do that.

As long as you are not loosing your L1 status (continue to be employed by your US employer) L2 can stay without any problem.

If you are leaving your job and/or changing visa type etc. then L2 cannot stay.
