L1A Extension

My L1A Extension was applied along with my Family (L2) under normal processing on June 28. I got Acknowledgment dated July 8. I could see that my visa status as in progress (no mention of processing type). On July 17, my employer had premium conversion which USCIS might have received on July 18, Overnight courier.

Question here is will the status change will happen on USCIS Website mentioning that now converted to Premium or will it be same.. I did not see any change...

What I learnt from fellow members is that their site is not up-to-date. There are non-techy people operating systems at USCIS side & easily forget to update the site with correct & current status.

libra14 - you are right ..

I read in *********.com that
if the application was done in Premium mode the USCIS Status shows - ‘Case Was Received and A Receipt Notice Was Emailed’ and in normal mode ‘Case Was Received'.
Since my case it was normal mode and then premium was applied, then will the status again will change mentioning the upgrade from normal to premium has happened or not -- that was my question..

I am not 100% sure, but what I said does apply to your question as well. So if the status is updated for one person, might not be updated for other.

Others gone through exact similar situation might chime in here please.

libra14 Just checked with Attorney who filed my case. She mentioned that she received the email from USCIS confirming Filing of Premium processing. I got the copy of the same. But still the status is as-it-is without any change in the website status page..
