I -94 Visa class correction and issued a New I -94 instead of correction

Hi All,

I have a question on I-94 Visa class correction, My Recent I-94 Visa class was recorded wrongly.

I visited the “Deferred Inspection Site” to correct VISA Class error (VISA Class was marked as L1A instead of L1B) made at the time of entry (1 Feb 2019 @ JFK) . The VISA Class got corrected as L1B on the newly issued I-94.


But, Later I noticed that the date of arrival has been marked as 2 July, 2019 instead of my actual Date of entry 1 Feb, 2019 in the corrected I-94( newly issued I-94) .There is no date of departure between these two dates of entry since I did not leave USA between these dates.

Could you please advise whether it is ok to have two consecutive dates of entry without a departure date in between?

If this is a discrepancy, could you please advise on how to rectify the same?

No need to worry, just keep proof of your earlier I94 & this one. If questioned, you can share these proof.

Hari1984 - How did you got this corrected? what all documents you submitted to CBP? Did you send email or visited personally?
