Queries regarding the l1b to l1a conversion

Hi,

I am on L1B visa and completing my 5 years (3+ 2 years extn) in March 2020 in USA and my I94 is also expiring at the same time.

I have overall 9+ years of experience in leading geographically dispersed teams of size 10~15 and playing this role for 3+ years. My question is whether I am an eligible candidate for L1B to L1A conversion or not?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Yes, you are eligible, but what did you mentioned in your L1B extension application?

If there you mentioned as skilled professional & now if you say that you were a manager for last 3 years - won't it be contradicting?
