L1A Blanket Visa

Hi All,

My current company is in process of applying for L1A Blanket visa and I am preparing documents for the same, have following queries in this regard.


1. My overall experience is close to 14 years and 2.5 years in current organization
2. I have already received L1A- Individual earlier (June -2015) from my previous organization which is still valid on my passport which I can't use in current organization as it can't be transferred
3. My role will be program manager in USA will have 5 direct reportees and close to 25 indirect reportee

My Question is what are the chances of getting it through given the fact that I already received L1A earlier from USCIS also is my experience and role suited as per USCIS

Your existing Visa shouldn't cause any issue as your current role is "Delivery Manager".
But current company experience factors which is asset here as u have 14 with current Org .
Make sure that your direct reporters are managers/leads (not developers).
Prepare well to build a strong case with team management, budget authority, hire and fire, new options, ...etc..
