Urgent Advice Required

I came to US with L1A(Blanket) Visa on Oct'14, was valid till Sep'17. My company filed L1A(Individual) extension of stay which was approved by USCIS which is valid till Jan'20 (have received the approved I797A). I am planning to visit India.

Can I apply at the Kolkata Consulate for the Interview/Visa Stamping or do I need to go to Chennai for the visa stamping (Will my case be considered a Blanket based L1A or Individual Based L1A)?

Hello, You can do it anywhere in India for Individual Approved Petition, only for Blanket you should come to Chennai. In your case the extension is with Individual Petition with Approved notice, so i think you can do it with Kolkata.
