Hi,
My wife has L1A -- till Sep-2019
And I have L2 & EAD till Sep -2019
And we both have I-94 valid till Dec-2020
And we are in process of filing the extension for both L1 and L2 with EAD extension
The attorney we had from our employer is suggesting that based on I-94, he can file L2-EAD.
He is ready to file L1-Extension as it is expiring in Sep-2019
However he is saying that he cannot file L2-extension ( Form I-539) as the I-94 is valid till 12/2020
My concern is as I have to travel to India by the end of this year so not sure without the L2-extension, I will not be able to
re-enter in US again.
Please anyone can throw light on this as to how to convince the attorney to file both L1 & L2 extension simultaneously.
