Will my dependent need original i797 for L2 visa?

Hi all,

Need your valuable suggestion.
I am travelling to USA on L1 visa in 2 weeks and i am going to carry my original i797 petition approval notice with me.
My dependents will file L2 once I travel. Will they need original i797 for visa interview? Will copy will work?
please suggest.

A good copy would work. Ensure that they can scan barcode from the copy. Try not to fold the copy.
