  • Does L2 dependent, traveling separately, need to show stamped I129S at port of entry?

For L1B principal applicant (PA) , the visa page clearly says that I need to show the stamped I-129S form at POE. The visa page in L2 dependent's passport doesn't say that.

The question here is - if L2 is traveling separately when entering US (on L2) for the first time, does she need to show the stamped I-129S? Or does she necessarily need to travel with the L1 PA on first entry?

Thanks in advance for your time in assisting with this query!

L2 can travel alone & separately. L2 just need to prove that L1 is in USA & maintaining proper status.

So L2 won't need his/her own 797/129, but a copy of L1's 797/129 along with latest payslip/bank statement showing L1 is working in USA is fine.
