L1-A Blanket Visa

Hello everyone,

I will be appearing for my L1-A Blanket Petition at the Chennai consulate this week. My role in India is very much similar to the role offered in US. I am currently leading a service from India at a functional level having a team of 4-5 associates. However, none of them are reporting to me. I just manage their day to day tasks. In US, my role will be almost similar to what I have in India with increased responsibilities from the business side as well.

I just wanted to check if the VO ask me a questions regarding my reportees here or in US, what should be my response? Is it okay to tell them that none of the reportees are managed by me or it will jeopardize my L1-A application

Any help here would be immensely appreciated.

If you really do not have people reporting to you & you do not manage them directly & you do not have rights to fire/hire them. then L1A is not for you.

Do not try to share false answer during interview & ban yourself for lifelong for any visa.
