Husband forgot to inlcude Btech information but included MBA information in DS 160

Hi,

My Spouse is applying for L2 while I am going on L1. Spouse has missed to include B.Tech education degree information in DS 160 while included MBA information (higher education) in DS 160. Wanted to check if there is going to be any issues in Visa interview.

Can we correct the mistake, we have our VAC appointment in 2 days ?

Hi, I had L1 visa interview on 26th August and VAC on 25th August at 12 PM. I found a mistake in my DS-160 night before VAC.

Here is what I did :

1) I created a new DS-160 from existing one corrected the mistakes and submitted it.
2) Went to https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/...&country=India and updated my profile with the latest DS-160
3) Took the print out of new appointment letter from https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/...&country=India which reflected new DS-160 number
4) Carried only new DS-160 confirmation and appointment letter with new DS-160 number print outs (you can keep the old ones in case they ask)
5) VAC systems take 2 business days to update this info. During the time of biometric, the staff will stick a sticker behind your passport just make sure the sticker has newer DS-160 number, if not it means system didn't get updated just inform them and they will update the sticker with newer DS-160. I had to explicitly mention them to use new DS-160 since i had updated new info and they took it without asking any questions.
6) VO officer during the interview will scan the DS-160 barcode on the sticker behind your passport only
