L1A Visa, L2 Visa, I94 expiration in Jan 2020 i.e. 4 months from now.
L2 EAD expired in Sep 2019.
Regular L1A extension applied in Jun 2019. Currently in RFE response received status.
L2 EAD extension applied in Jun 2019. Currently in Received status.
L2 extension applied in Jul 2019. Currently in Received status.
When I had applied for L2 EAD extension, I was expecting that the EAD extension would arrive before its current expiry and would only be for 2 months only i.e. until Jan 2020 i.e. i194 expiry date.
and had planned to apply for another EAD extension once L1 and L2 extension are approved.
Questions:
1. It's almost 90 days but I haven't heard back on the EAD status, can i call up USCIS and give them the L1 and L2 extension application numbers?
Hopefully, if the RFE response is resolved positively, then they can approve L2 and EAD both together?
Will they update the current EAD application with the L1 and L2 extension applications?
2. or should I simply spend another ~$400 and apply for another EAD extension mentioning the L1 and L2 extension application numbers?
3. How do we contact the local congress person to expedite the EAD process? is email or a mail a letter or in person visit?
4. how do we contact USCIS to ask for a follow-up on the status?
