  • Stamped L1-B visa but no approved I-129S

    Need help!

I went for a L1-A visa interview on 19th March 2010 in the New Delhi consulate and after a couple of questions the counsellor suggested that the nature of project suits an L1-B and gave me yellow 221-g form wrote that change in I-129 is required.

I submitted changed I-129 (filed for L1-B as suggested by the counsellor) in VFS and the very next day i received an email from the consulate that i should submit my passport for further processing of my visa, which i submitted on 31st March'10.

I received my stamped passport (L1) after that but did not receive the approved I-129s I spoke to VFS and they said that i should contact the embassy directly.

Please suggest if I need a approved I-129 for entry into the US? and if so what can i do apart from following up with the US embassy?

Thanks for your help in advance,
    Shadab

    L1 B Stamped but I129S not recieved

    Hi,
I also got 221g yellow slip from Mumbai consulate. I then received an email to submit my passport and related documents. I received my stamped passport back but no I-129S.
Has any body else encountered the same situation before ?
