L1A extension timeline

Hi,

i have applied my first L1A extension on 7/1/19 along with my family 539. Still didnt any update against my case. 3 months already completed, still wiating for the response.

Does anyone here know how long would it take to get an action against my case?

Also whats the current timeline for extension?

Thats the situation of almost every now-a-days. 5 to 7 months is normal.

Use the following link to determine the timeliness for L1 extension.

You need to choose the application type, service center.

Depending on your service center the timeliness varies from 3-9 months.

There is an option where you can convert primary applicant application to premium processing however the dependents application would still be processed under normal timeliness.

Hi hs1977, Which USCIS your documents went?. My L1A extension was filed on August 1st 2019 at California center and i received RFE on September 17.

Mine was file in California too but was filed under premium processing and I received approval within the 15 day timeline. However still waiting for approval on dependents L1 extension.

Seems CSC processing cases as they received, not sure why was it taking too long at TSC. Mine was TSC n regular. I thought of applying for premium, but law furm advised that if i do it now getting rfe chances are high, hence dropped.
