L1 A Individual visa to GC through EB2

Hi,

I came to US in Jul 2018 on L1 A Individual visa. I want to file for GC under EB1 category. However, my employer says that due to some policy changes, they can only file for GC in EB2 category.
My question is: Won't filing under EB2 category for L1 A Individual visa raise questions by USCIS? Is it possible to do so?

No, EB category is sole decision of your employer & going with EB2 doesn't mean that your are not an manager.
