L1B to L1A

Hi,
I am eligible for L1A and currently in L1A.

My 60 monts completes in nov 2010. How ever my I94 is till Mar2011.

If L1B to L1A needs to be done what are the options there?.

I am hearing L1B to L1A needs to be applied 6mnths before 60month period of L1B is that true?.

L1B to L1A has to get approved before your 5 year term gets completed for you to stay in the country and keep working. So it is advisable to apply in advance rather than wait till the last minute.
