Change of visa class (L1B-Blanket to Individual) after appointment at the consulate.
Hi Everyone,
I'd like to thank all the contributors to this forum, it has been a great help for me. I want some help in figuring out ways to change my visa class in the profile on visa appointment website of consulates in India. I got the appointment at Chennai consulate to get stamp after approval of application of extending my L1B visa by USCIS. At the time of taking the appointment I added L1B-Blanket visa class in my profile but recently found out that the petition was filed as L1B-Individual for extension. I am looking for advice from people who have been into similar situation before. I know that any change of information in DS-160 can be reciprocated at the time of appointment at VAC, could I reciprocate the information of visa class change at VAC or consulate or should I consider starting a new application altogether which I am hesitant to do for various reason.
I would be very grateful to get any advice on this issue.
