Can we travel earlier then PED?

Dear All,
I have scheduled L1 blanket interview on Jan 10,2020 at Chennai consulate. My PED start date is March 02, 2020 and date of employment is December 30, 2019. Will my visa start date be same as PED or will it be given earlier date as well? If my PED and visa start date is March 02, 2020, then do I have option to travel a week or 10days before March 02, 2020?

Because in following website https://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-gen-faq.asp I see, Q.5 When can I enter the United States?

You may not enter the United States until 10 days prior to your employment start date, as noted on your Form I-797 or on your offer of employment letter.

Yes, you can plan to enter last week of February 2020.

I got my visa and here is what happened.

1. PED stamp on my visa is the date I got interviewed and not the one in my application.
2. Visa expiry date is 3years from the date I got interviewed.
3. Visa start date is 10days before PED date that I applied. "Not valid unit Feb 20, 2020" is printed on my visa. (PED date is March 2, 2020 and my visa start date is Feb 20,2020).

Visa stamp will have your start date based on PED date. So you can enter only on that date or after.
