Can I leave US while my L1A extension is in progress for maternity reason

Please provide your valuable suggestions for me to come out from this situation.

I am working in L1A visa and my visa expired on Dec 20 2019. I was applied for extension before a week and it is in progress. I am an expectant mother and my due date is on July . As per the current processing time in the uscis , my expected results also fall on the same month. To avoid the last minute travel to India (if the results is negative) can I leave US before I got my extension results? What is the complications if I leave US while my extension is in progress?

Yes, you can leave USA & your L1A extension (I129) will continue without any impact.

Once your extension (I129) is approved you can use that I797 to get your new visa (if needed) & return to USA.
