L2 Visa for children

I am having L1 visa and my wife also stamped L2 visa. My kid recently born in India and I applied for passport . In kid passport mother name is only first name rather my wife has full name in her passport. I want to apply for L2 for my kid. My full name is in my kid passport as my passport. Please let me know if I need to correct my kid passport for mother name or it is not a problem

Better to have it corrected first - its worth the problem he might face later.
