I am (L1A) planning to apply EAD for wife on L2. Our PED is Dec 20th, 2022. However my I94 expiry is Jun 30, 2020, due to passport expiry. Does my upcoming I94 matter for spouse EAD? Do i have to wait until i get new passport and renew I94?

What is I94 for your wife? It will be basically depend on her I94 & your Petition (not on your I94).
