is this advisable to take my wife as L2 beneficiary as I read many folks got approved L1A with wife getting L2?

Is this look positive to the VO to take my spouse as L2 applicant during the interview along with me as L1A individual?

if I am not taking my wife for L2 then what should be the reason (e.g. is this ok to say I am going for 3 months and she ll continue to work here with company xxx and also take care of my younger baby who is just 12 months old, is this sound negative?)

The process & petition is same, but with Premium processing, USCIS will take extra money to respond within 15 days. With normal processing, they will take their own sweet time to respond.

In reality it doesn't matter or impact the decision, if you go with out without spouse.

Yes, You can say that she will be joining later, or not planning to join as she got her own priorities (job, family etc).

Good question. L1 visas are basically for employees (worked 1 year outside USA for that company) moving from their foreign branch or subsidiaries to USA branch. Under this category, L1A is for executives or managers, while L1B is for certain proprietary knowledgeable employee.
