Making money at HOME COUNTRY with L1B visa

HI,

Would it violate my visa status to earn money in my home country and with home country currency (not in the U.S.) through absence and affiliate on my blog (the servers are in my home country too)? All money will be deposited in my back in my home country. My blog is NOT in English and I am positive that it does not steal jobs in the U.S from U.S. citizens so I am assuming it does not violate L1 visa.

If it does, can I use my wife's bank account in our home country? She has L2 visa and EAD.

As long as you are not "working" & getting paid from that work you are fine (like investing in stock, renting a property etc. Where you are not really "working")
Its confusing to me as well, that writing a blog while you are in USA & getting money in home country would be considered as "working" or not.
Even if you are getting money outside USA, its a good idea to declare that in your tax returns in USA.
