H4 to L1 visa query

Hi All,

I came to US as H4 and my spouse processed H1b and H4 extension together last year June. Its still in progress. Meanwhile i applied L1 from USA. It got approved last week. Should i cancel the H4 extension process? If H4 gets approved will it invalidate the L1 visa? IS there any time limit to get into a project with the new L1?
