i94error. Can I apply SSN before it gets corrected?

Hi,
My electronically downloaded I94 from CBP site is having wrong Class type. Instead of L1B it has L1A. Before it gets corrected can I apply for SSN? Also how I can get my I94 corrected?

Yes, you can apply for SSN.
Fro I94, contact CBP officer at nearest international airport.
