L2 Visa / I-94 of Dependent if primary petitioner's I-94 is valid beyond Petition

Hi,

I am on L1B Visa in USA and having I-94 valid till April 2013. But my petition is valid till April 2011 only. My wife is coming to USA next month on L2 Visa.

I know, I can stay in USA till April 2013 without applying for L1B Extension. But I am not sure what will happen to my wife's L2 Visa / I-94. Can someone guide me on this doubt.

It depends on the officer at the POE. Most probably she would get an I-94 only till your petition expiry date.
