L1 while waiting for Green Card

Hello,

My husband has a Green Card and lives in the USA whereas I live in Europe. We have applied for my Green Card via marriage few months ago but it's going to take 2-3 years to be granted. In a meanwhile, can I apply for an L1 visa? I'm working for an American company in Europe. I assume there is a conflict bcs GC is an immigrant visa whereas L1 is non-immgrant visa, so Im not sure If I can apply for it... Kindly looking for help.
