Hi,
Our L1 & L2 Visa's were expired on Aug 31st, 2019, while we apply for a visa extension before our expiry date our lawyer has filed an L1 extension in premium and it got approved on Sep 10th, 2019 and filing L2 extension was missed.
After speaking with Lawyer, considering it as an honest mistake they filed L2 extension on Sep 24th, 2019 in texas center and biometrics completed on OCT 24th 2019.
As of today, the status of the extension is "Case was updated to show fingerprints were taken" and still waiting for a decision from USCIS.
Since we are close to 180 days of Visa expiry, Can L2 visa holders stay up to 240 days or do we have to fly back by before 180 days?
Please suggest.
Thanks,
Syed Ariff
