  • Conversion to L1A

Hello, please guide me on my scenario.

I have my H1B visa stamped until Feb 7th.

I had applied for a conversion to L1A as my role has changed but just received a denial.

Can I now apply for my original H1B extension before 7Feb and stay in US until response is received?

If it is denied, can I re-apply for L1 A from India? Is there a period I have to wait for?

For L1A visa, you need to work for same company for more than 1 year in last 3 years outside USA. If you qualify for that you can apply immediately.
