L1B Blanket Visa Education Requirement

Hi there

I've been informed that my degree from Australia does not meet the equivalency of U.S degree, thus not meeting L1B blanket visa requirement. (With 2 years of working experience)

Just wondering, is that a hard-requirement for a L1B blanket visa or is there a way to apply for a waiver or exemption?

L1B is for specialized skill person. If you can prove that you've some specialized knowledge then that degree is irrelevant. If it is generic knowledge what you have then a degree would help up to some extent.
