L1 Extension and India Travel of my dependants

Hi,

I have applied for my L1 extension which is expiring in July 2010 and yet to receive a Receipt Number.

1. Will my dependents be able to travel to India before i know if my petition is Approved/Rejected?

2. If my petition gets Approved when they are in India and they want to travel back to US can they go get the Visa Stamping done without me accompanying them and staying back in US?

Please Advise.
