Can I travel on B1 for business meetings while I have L1B individual filed?

I have L1B individual visa filed and awaiting decision. Meanwhile I have business meetings to attend. Can I travel on business visa while my L1 B individual is under process or will that have any impact on my L1 B visa application?

Yes, you can travel on B1 - just ensure you carry sufficient proof (return ticket) to prove that you'll return after a short trip & you've no intention to change your status from B1 to L1 once you are in USA.
