Can my travel on B1 visa jeopardise my upcoming L1A visa application?

I need to travel on B1 visa for 2 weeks to discuss requirements with client. Post that, my company is going to file L1A visa application. Will this business travel be looked at as work or misuse of business visa and can it lay the shadow on doubt in my L1A visa interview?

No, both visas will be evaluated separately on its own merits.

Anyways, you are going to file for L1A post your B1 visa.
