Is visa required for Mexico if traveler for US visa stamped passport

Hi ,
I have a valid US visa which is valid throughout and beyond my stay in Mexico , and I am an Indian citizen travelling for visa renewal purpose to Mexico city .Do I need a Mexico visa as well to enter Mexico ?

Indians doesn't need a visa to enter Mexico for short trips for tourism/US visa purpose, but you'll need a valid US visa in order to return to USA, if your visa request is kept on hold or denied, you'll need to fly back to India.

Hi Libra, if you still have a valid existing US visa would your existing visa be revoked if a renewal is denied at a third country consulate?

I guess with a valid US visa which is not due to expire before 2 months , even if the visa renewal expires I should still be able to re-enter and settle matters before leaving the country. Is my understanding correct ?

It depends on the reason of denial. It is possible that if the renewal is denied, the VO might cancel your existing valid visa as well.

If you have a valid visa, you can use that to enter in USA till its last date of validity.
