Passport delivery time in US Consulate of Mecixo

Hi All,
I checked with visa appointment services in US Consulate , Mexico city and they said it usually takes 2 to 4 weeks (standard processing time) for passports to be delivered after stamping. Is that so ? I have read that it usually takes 2-3 business days after interview for stamped passport to be delivered.

This is important since I will be travelling from US to Mexico for stamping and definitely getting help up for 2 - 4 weeks is a concern.

Any response or sharing of past experience is appreciated !

I think you should try to pickup your passport from embassy itself, instead of them shipping it to you on your Mexico hotel address - this way it will be quick.
