L1B Blanket Visa Rejected @ Chennai Consulate

I am really sad as my Visa was today denied stating "Not Clearly Approvable" and the VO said apply in a different Category. Questions were fairly straightforward like the Company, Salary, Specialization etc. I am a Web Application Developer and I had explicitly stated that I will be using company's Internal Component Libraries & Framework to develop large scale customer facing web applications. The only downside I think was following: VO Asked: Will you be using 'Javascript' Answer: I only said 'Yes', I should have explained more that I will be using the proprietary frameworks/component libraries and they are built in Javascript and hence I would have to use JS. I would advise never to directly mention the Language like Java or Javascript. Thanks for all the help in this community. Hoping to apply in some other category too.

L1B blanket visa are more likely to be rejected for 2 reasons:

• L1B is hard to prove - that your knowledge is not easily available in whole USA.
• Blanket is another issue - With blanket petition the onus is on the VO to determine that you are a real employee.

Suggestion is to apply for L1B individual or L1A (if applicable).
