Can I work from home with a valid EAD employed in another country?

I need clarification on my situation:

I reside in US with my family, have a valid EAD.

1. Can I take employment with an employer outside US (hence, my payroll gets processed outside US). This will be working remote from home in US.
2. As I am not on US payroll, do I have to eVerify? And if I have to [eVerify], how do I?

Are you on L2 visa? If yes, then you can work for any company, inside & outside USA.
