L2 EAD extension

Hello,

My L2 EAD expires this August 2010 and my L2 visa/I94 expires Sep last week 2010. My husbands L1 visa/I94 also expires on the same day in Sep 2010. We are planning to go back to our home country a week before our visa expires.

If i apply for a EAD extension now, will i get the EAD extended till my L2 visa expire date, that is, from August to Sep last week.

Also what is the processing time for this.

EAD can be extended only till the validity of the L1 petition. Visa has nothing to do here. It takes 2-3 months.
