Applying for L1-B; unable to find previous H1 Approval document

Hi,

My current employer is about to file my L1-B visa. In addition to other documents, my employer is also asking for previous H1 approval documents.

I had lived in US in H1-B 5 years back with a different employer, but not able to trace the past H1 approval document.

Please suggest if this is a must-have document to apply for L1-B visa.
