Need advice for L1

Hi,

I have my MBA and I wish to move to the US to start my own business. Can I incorporate a company and affiliate it to a friend's company abroad and then sponsor myself to move to the US with a L1 visa?

If not, what other ways can I have to move in and start my own working company.
