I94 difference between husband and wife

Folks, I need some expert advise..

My I94 expires in Nov 2010 (L1) and my wife's I94 expires in Aug 2010 (L2) as we entered US separately.

Can my wife overstay till my i94 expiry as she is a depandant or should I approach some authority either CBP or some other governing body to sync the dates so that we can stay till Nov 2010.

Any guidance is much appreciated.

All stay past I-94 date is illegal for anybody for any reason.

Apply for extension of stay.
